WiFi: Built for Remote Work
Our internet connection is one of the most commented-on features in guest reviews, and we take it seriously. We use a dedicated fiber-optic line from VNPT, Vietnam's largest internet provider, delivering 100 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload speeds to the property. Each room has its own WiFi access point to ensure strong signal without congestion, even when all rooms are occupied. We test the connection weekly and maintain backup equipment so that if any hardware fails, we can swap it within hours. In real-world use, guests consistently report stable video calls on Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams, smooth file uploads and downloads, and lag-free streaming. For digital nomads and remote workers, this is not just a convenience -- it is a requirement, and we treat it as one. A 4G mobile data SIM card (available for $5-10 at a shop 300 meters away) provides an additional backup connection for critical calls.
Swimming Pool: Your Daily Retreat
The outdoor pool measures 8 meters long by 4 meters wide with a depth ranging from 0.5 meters (shallow children's section) to 1.5 meters (adult section). The water is maintained at a comfortable temperature and chemically balanced daily using a modern filtration system. The pool deck features four adjustable sun loungers, two large shade umbrellas, and a small table for drinks. The pool is cleaned every morning before 7:00 AM and is open to guests from 7:00 AM until 9:00 PM. During peak sunshine hours (10 AM to 3 PM), the pool gets full sun -- excellent for tanning. By late afternoon, the garden palms provide pleasant dappled shade. We ask that guests shower before entering the pool and that children under 12 are always accompanied by an adult. Glass containers are not permitted in the pool area for safety reasons.
Kitchen: A Real Cooking Space
Our shared kitchen is not an afterthought -- it is a fully functional cooking space that many guests use daily. Equipment includes a two-burner gas stove, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, rice cooker, a full-size refrigerator with labeled compartments for each room, and a complete set of pots, pans, cutting boards, knives, colanders, mixing bowls, and serving utensils. We provide basic condiments including cooking oil, salt, pepper, soy sauce, and fish sauce. The kitchen also has a dining table seating six, opening directly onto the garden for al fresco meals. The Duong Dong fresh market, where you can buy vegetables, tropical fruit, meat, and fresh-caught seafood at local prices, is a five-minute walk. Many long-term guests and families cook most of their meals here, reducing their food budget by 50-60% compared to eating out for every meal. We maintain a folder of simple Vietnamese recipes that guests are welcome to try.
Tropical Garden: 200 Square Meters of Green
The garden surrounds the entire property and covers approximately 200 square meters. We planted it with a mix of coconut palms, banana trees, frangipani, bougainvillea, and native flowering plants that bloom throughout the year. Two hammocks are strung between the larger palm trees. A covered seating area with cushioned rattan chairs provides a shaded reading and relaxation spot. The garden also contains our BBQ area with a charcoal grill and an outdoor dining table. In the evening, the garden is lit with warm low-level lighting that creates a genuinely atmospheric setting. Many guests tell us the garden is their favorite part of the property -- a quiet green space to decompress after a day of exploring the island. For remote workers, it also serves as an alternative outdoor workspace on pleasant days.
